Wales

While the sister was here for a month we had a "staycation" and went to Wales! Yes.. the Wales where it is said the locals "shag sheep." The Wales that has been made famous by the classy MTV show, "The Valleys".. The Wales that I expected to seem pretty much a perfect mirror image of backwoods West Virginia from the tales.. Um.. boy was I wrong. Wales is proooobably the most magical picturesque place I have been to in my short life. I mean.. just look how pretty!

We camped the whole time and of course that made it a million times better. Our first stop was Tenby. We stayed at a lovely campsite called Trevayne Farms. It is just a cute little farm with the most incredible hilltop view of the sea. The little farm shop on the site is to die for!

The next stop was Celtic Camping and Bunkhouse. A simple little site that has SUPER clean facilities, lots of space, and is right smack dab in the middle of the gorgeous coastal path. We walked seven miles of the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the first three miles was incredibly beautiful and we saw seals and pretty coves and all sorts of things! I have no idea what even happened the last four miles as we ran out of water and I just was ready to stop climbing and sleep! We had no end of s'more creating and we all got pretty nicely sun kissed/burnt.

Moral of the story.. Go to Wales. It is pretty amazing.
